This program consists of two parts:
A guide tour through the TextileLab past the modern machines, and a workshop in which the students get to know about felts.
Using soapy water, heat and friction, wool can be turned into felt. This happens because the woollen fibres scales bond together. The most important requirements in this workshop are also hot water, soap and friction! The students can try it out themselves with carded wool of various colours.
