How can I find information about an object in the museum collection?
Part of the collection of the Audax Textile Museum Tilburg is online. The information about this collection is regularly extended. For more information the right place to go is the museum library, which is open from Tuesday to Thursday inclusive, from 13:00 to 17:00 o'clock, or you can always make an appointment. You can also consult the library catalogue online.

How do I know if a particular object is on show in the museum?
Only part of the collection is exhibited in the museum. If you want to be certain whether a particular object or work of art can be seen in an exhibition, then before you visit contact us on +31 13-5367475 or send an e-mail to collectie@textielmuseum.nl

How can I order visual material from the collection?
If you want to order visual material from the collection, send a letter to the Audax Textielmuseum Tilburg, for the attention of Guus Boekhorst, Goirkestraat 96, 5046 GN Tilburg or send an e-mail to collectie@textielmuseum.nl. We will first contact you about the use of the material and the price before we actually execute the order.

Your order should include:
- a description or the title of the object/artwork/photograph
- the maker or artist/designer/photographer
- description of the purpose, for example private use of intended for publication
- whether you want it printed or want a digital image

May I take photographs of objects in the museum?
Photography on the temporary exhibitions is not permitted. Taking photographs for your own use is permitted in the permanent exhibition, with the exception of art and design, and only without the use of a tripod and/or flash. Art and design works are protected by copyright.

Photography for/by the press must be applied for in advance and in writing from the Communication department: e-mail adress communicatie@mommerskwartier.nl.

How can I ask something about an object that I myself possess?
If you want to know more about an object or a work of art that is in your possession, send a letter to Audax Textielmuseum Tilburg, Goirkestraat 96, 5046 GN Tilburg, or an e-mail to collectie@textielmuseum.nl

Your letter or e-mail should contain:
- a description of the object, material(s), dimensions
- clear photo / photos of the object
- information about the object came into your possession (provenance)
- your address, telephone number, and e-mail address

The museum does not make any pronouncements about the value of an object. For evaluation you can contact an auctioneer, art dealer or independent appraiser.

How can I offer an object or work of art to the museum?
The Textile Museum is always interested in objects that will supplement the museum’s collection. If you would like to offer us an object, first send a letter to Audax Textielmuseum Tilburg, t.a.v. Hanneke Oosterhof, Goirkestraat 96, 5046 GN Tilburg or an e-mail to hanneke.oosterhof@mommerskwartier.nl containing:

- a description of the object, material(s), dimensions
- clear photo / photos of the object
- information about the object came into your possession (provenance)
- your address, telephone number, and e-mail address

The museum will then contact you as soon as possible!
