Stayed five weeks in Tilburg, The Netherlands

From the very beginning I started working around the theme of lace. I was intrigued to create surfaces and textures, which question the rigid borders of the theme of home and the other, rather making them accidental, coincidental even random aspects of eachother. I experimented with the graphicscan, embroidery, knitting and weaving receiving results that varied from frustration to surprising to beautiful. During this time working together with the people around me became vital, I could have never have done it without Jaenett, Mervi and the fabulous people at the museum.
