European Textile Trainees 2009

Talented designers will be given the opportunity to follow a trainee programme, including the use of the available facilities of the participating textile institutes.

The essence of a trainee programme is that it offers a course of ‘working and learning’. Per working period a part of the time is devoted to mastering the materials and production techniques. At the same time the trainees are expected to avail themselves of the opportunity to work on design projects related to the theme ‘Quality'.

The international character of this trainee programme will enable the participants to undergo a considerable development in the field of textile and design within a short period.

October 11 till November 27, eight trainees are going to Italy to work together with the Como textile Industry. Organised by Servizi Industriali Srl., UICOMO.
