The museum and education
The Textielmuseum has a lot to offer. The TextielAcademie, the educational department of the museum, has programmes about textiles, design, materials, techniques and history for diverse educational groups. The TextielAcademie aims to develop programmes that are appealing and inspirational for students and pupils. This takes place in an authentic learning environment, one that is varied, context-rich and challenging. The discovery and development of personal interests, skills, inspiration and talents is the point of departure for all the programmes. Students are supervised by expert and enthusiastic museum teachers who organise interactive, guided tours and workshops.
