Friends

The members of the Stichting Vrienden Textielmuseum (Friends of the Textile Museum foundation) advise and assist the museum. Expensive purchases such as the new computer-controlled weaving and knitting machines, the steam engine and the museum model in Madurodam have all been realised with the support of these friends.

The Friends of the Textile Museum have special privileges. Friends of the museum get a discount in the TextileShop, receive the newspaper Textuur free of charge, and are invited to the annual festive Vriendendag (Friends’ Day). Entrance to the museum is free on presentation of the Vriendenpas (Friends Pass).
